Tim had many outstanding years as a McMaster Marauder, as an athlete as well as a coach. He was honoured as a four-time OUAA water polo champion and a four-time OUAA All-star. Tim also received the Ivor Wynne Trophy in 1991, and the Ray Johnson Award in 1993. He was the president of the Men's Athletic Committee in 1992.
