A member of the football team, Price was vice president of the student body, first president of the Poly Con club, member of the debating team and 1930 winner of the Carr Trophy as the University's best all-round student athlete. He coached Mac football for five seasons starting in 1939, his teams only losing two games. He retired as director of education for the City of Hamilton.
