An all round athlete who excelled at basketball, baseball and hockey, Jackson made his biggest name as quarterback on the football team. Regarded by many as the finest quarterback Canada has produced, Jackson went to most valuable status with the Ottawa Rough Riders and winner of the Schenley award as best player and best Canadian player.
