In four years of varsity football, Ken played on three Canadian championship teams... 1935, 1936, 1937. He also was on the track and field team and with the hockey team except in his final year when he was signed by the Toronto Maple Leafs and assigned to weekend play with their Syracuse farm team. After graduation, Ken made a name for himself as a professional singer and business man, rather than playing professional sport.
