Versatile, vibrant, victorious. . . Verlaan! The letter "v" helps to describe Margot's sports career, from her four years of track and field (she won an OWIAA silver medal for shot put in 1987) to her four OWIAA all-star seasons of ice hockey. Margot was our 1987 Co-Female Athlete of the Year and followed this success with fruitful stints on Canada's national ice and roller hockey teams. She has coached hockey, been a TV hockey analyst, and run sports clinics around the continent.
