Moore set a record in the javelin throw, played on the hockey and water polo teams, swam in the relay events and was a member of the 1935 football team that won the Canadian Intermediate Intercollegiate Championship. Later he was an All-Canadian half-back with the University of Western Ontario where he is a member of the Hall of Fame.
