McMaster University Athletics

Karen made a significant contribution to McMaster athletics as a multi-talented athlete. Participating on the varsity tennis and squash teams, Karen was both an athlete and a coach during her time at McMaster. Karen was a member of the '75-76 and '78-'79 OWIAA Tennis Championship Team earning gold in the doubles competition in '75-'76 and '77-'78. She was a member of the Women's Athletic Committee and a founding and executive member of the Women's Athletic Alumni Association in 1986. Karen was honoured for her efforts as an exceptional athlete and community leader with the Dr. Edna Guest Award in '78-'79.
