McMaster University Athletics

A talented two-sport athlete, Jane played field hockey and ice hockey for McMaster from 1968-72. She was a goalie in field hockey, and played defence as well as goal for the Ice Hockey team. She was a member of the 1970-71 championship ice hockey team and made significant contributions to both teams. Jane also served on the Women's Athletic Council for three years and was President for 1971-72. She was awarded the Dr. Edna Guest Trophy in 1972 for exemplifying the spirit of McMaster. Jane has been an elementary school teacher for 27 years and is an active curler and golfer. She is married and has two stepsons.
