SARAH LAUDENBACH '01
Swimming

One of the most decorated swimmers that McMaster has ever produced, Sarah was a vital contributor to the three straight OUA championships won by the Marauders in 1998, 1999 and 2000. Her exploits over a five-year varsity career include winning six individual medals at the CIS championships, and being part of three medal winning relay teams at the nationals. In 1997, Sarah was the 200-metre freestyle national champion and an All-Canadian. She collected a total of one gold, three silver and five bronze medals at the CIS finals competition. The 1997 season saw Sarah honoured as McMaster's Female Athlete of the Year, and in 2001 she was given the OUA Award of Distinction for swimming excellence.
