McMaster University Athletics

A five-year member of the Women's Soccer Team (1987-91), Lydia had an outstanding career at McMaster. She was a 4-time OWIAA All-Star and 4 -time CIAU First Team All-Canadian. She was a member of the 1991 CIAU Championship team and was named MVP of the National Championship Tournament. She is a 2-time McMaster Female Athlete of the Year (1990 and 1992) and was named Athlete of the Week at McMaster, the OWIAA and the CIAU on numerous occasions. Lydia coordinated McMaster's involvement in the World University Games Women's Soccer in 1993, and played for Canada at this event. She was also a member of Canada's National Soccer Team from 1989-95.
