McMASTER ATHLETICS HALL OF FAME
Brittany Hicks exemplifies the spirit of a true multi-sport athlete, leaving a lasting mark across three varsity programs during her time at McMaster. As captain of the fast pitch team, Brittany earned three team MVP awards and led the Marauders to an OIWFA Championship title in 2009. Her versatility and athletic excellence extended beyond the diamond, as she also competed with the track and field team in 2010, and the fencing team in 2011 and 2012. Graduating summa cum laude in 2013, Brittany later returned to McMaster in 2016 to pursue a second degree, further demonstrating her commitment to both academic and athletic excellence.
Her success continued beyond McMaster, where she captured back-to-back Canadian Collegiate Softball Championship titles with the Western Mustangs. On the international stage, Brittany proudly represented Team Canada at the 2011 Pan American Games, earning a silver medal in softball. Today, Brittany remains a dedicated contributor to the McMaster community and the sport of softball. As a mentor with Softball Canada and assistant coach for McMaster fast pitch, she continues to inspire and support the next generation of athletes, embodying the values of leadership, excellence, and service.
