Hired by the legendary Ivor Wynne, Joyce joined the Athletics staff in 1963. She was secretary to the women's intercollegiate program in the 60's and 70's, promoted to Coordinator of Intercollegiate Athletics in 1983 and assumed additional responsibilities in 1990. The Lettermen's Association named her as an "Honorary Lettermen", only the second woman so honoured. Joyce has been a devoted friend and advisor to our athletes, her commitment and loyalty to McMaster Athletics second to none.
