An outstanding basketball player over her four year career, Kay was the Marauders captain in each of her last two seasons. She also played two years of varsity tennis and served as President of the Women's Athletic Board. Kay was a holder of the Honour M Award in athletics and recipient of the Edna Guest Trophy in 1936.
