GERRY WAGAR ‘46

Gerry was a talented multi-sport athlete who excelled in hockey, football and tennis. He captained the McMaster hockey team and was the leading scorer for four years. On the gridiron he was a starting halfback for three years and helped lead the Marauders to an IIFC Championship in 1945. On the tennis court Gerry won the Tew Cup as the varsity tennis champion in 1945. He was a varsity Lettermen in 1946 and continued to stay active upon leaving MAC and continues to coach part-time in Kingston where he lives with his wife, Geraldine, and has a private psychiatry practice.
