HAMILTON – McMaster Athletics & Recreation is pleased to announce a new partnership with Dragon's Fire Golf Club, which will serve as the official home course of the McMaster Marauders men's and women's golf programs.

The partnership provides the Marauders with a dedicated home course as the programs continue to train, compete and prepare for the OUA season.

"Having a strong home course partner is an important piece of building a first-class varsity golf program," said Keenan Jeppesen, Director of Athletics & Recreation at McMaster University. "Dragon's Fire provides our student-athletes with a great environment to train and compete, and we're excited to build a relationship that supports the continued growth of Marauders golf."

Located in Flamborough, Dragon's Fire Golf Club features an 18-hole, par-72 layout that stretches to 7,202 yards from the back tees. The course presents a varied test throughout, including long par-4s, multiple risk-reward opportunities and a demanding collection of par-5s, highlighted by the 633-yard 13th hole from the championship tees.

"Dragon's Fire Golf Club is proud to partner with the McMaster Golf Team to support the next generation of student athletes, both on and off the course" said Steven DaHarry, Proshop Manager at Dragon's Fire.

Dragon's Fire will provide the Marauders with a home base throughout the golf season while further connecting McMaster's varsity golf programs with the local golf community.
