Isak Fransson (Hamilton, Ont.) have been crowned this week's Marauder Athletes of the Week for their excellent showings over the weekend.
Olivia MacAskill - (Kanata, Ont.)
Olivia MacAskill delivered a standout performance at the York Open, racing to a first-place finish in the women's 1000m and continuing her strong indoor season for the Marauders. MacAskill crossed the line in 2:49.84, winning the event by more than six seconds and setting the tone early with a confident, controlled pace. Her victory not only highlighted her competitive edge but also elevated her position on the national stage, as she now ranks 13th in U SPORTS in the 1000m.
Teammate Ella Madsen joined her near the top of the results, finishing third in 2:56.34, giving McMaster two runners inside the top three. Isak Fransson - (Hamilton, Ont.)
