Samuel Patrick (Guelph, Ont.) have been crowned this week's Marauder Athletes of the Week for their excellent showings over the weekend.
Tehani Bless - (Winnipeg, Man.)
Tehani Blais (Winnipeg, Man.) dominated the mats at the York Open, capturing first place in the women's 68kg weight class for McMaster University. Blais went undefeated through the tournament, winning all three of her matches in commanding fashion. She opened with a 13–2 victory over Olivia Hamilton (BBWC), followed by a swift 10–0 technical fall against Jasmeet Dhaliwal (IND) in just 49 seconds. Blais sealed her gold medal with an 11–0 win over Enija Plavina (QUEENS) in under two minutes. Her impressive performance earned her 10 points and showcased her dominance and precision throughout the competition.

Samuel Patrick (Guelph, Ont.) delivered a strong performance at the U SPORTS Cross Country Championship, finishing 14th overall in a highly competitive national field. Representing McMaster University, Patrick's consistency and determination helped lead the Marauders to a fifth-place team finish with 153 points. Hosted by Sherbrooke University, the championship featured challenging terrain and top runners from across the country. Patrick's top-15 result highlights his impressive season and his ability to compete among Canada's best at the university level. His effort anchored a resilient McMaster squad that demonstrated depth, grit, and national-level competitiveness throughout the event.
