The Marauders had an eventful weekend, competing at the Boston University Valentine Invitational from Feb. 9th to 10th and sending athletes to the Windsor Team Challenge on Feb. 9th.  

Boston University Valentine Invitational

The Boston Invitational brought many athletes together from all over North America this past weekend.  

On the men's side, first year Tristan Bouius finished the 800m with a time of 1:54.62, ahead of all of his teammates. In the 1000m, fourth year Noah Mulkewich, McMaster's sole runner in the race, ran a time of 2:24.38. Samuel Patrick was the first Marauder to cross the line in the 1-mile race (4:08.58) followed closely by teammate Will Weist (4:10.13). In the 3000m, first year Ryan Davies ran to a time of 8:26.39, ahead of fellow teammate Ben Keller.  

On the women's side, Kaylee White was the first Marauder to cross the finish line in the 800m, with a time of 2:21.14. Not far behind her was first year Kara Tichbourne, putting up an impressive time of 2:21.57. In the 1000m, Olivia MacAskill was the only Marauder competing, and she represented well, finishing 18th (2:52.71). For the 1-mile run, Victoria Lamb had a great race, finishing first out of her teammates with a time of 4:47.18. Finally, Kaitlyn Treleaven put up the top McMaster performance in the 3000m race with a time of 9:36.86.

Windsor Team Challenge

On the women's side, Florina Keller ran a 1:41.72 600m race, followed by Sophie Trott (1:43.19). Maya Parkin was the first Marauder to cross the finish line in the 1-mile race at Windsor, posting a time of 5:21.90.  

On the men's side, Matthew Markson was the sole Marauder in the 600m race, finishing mid-pack with a time of 1:24.13. Austin McGoey had a strong performance in the 1-mile, finishing sixth overall (4:21.93).
