On a dominant weekend for the Marauders, who made quick work of the Lakehead Thunderwolves in a pair of matches at Burridge Gym to reignite their conference season, the converted setter was the most efficient hitter of them all.
With her team reeling off consecutive sweeps, including three sets under 10 points conceded in Friday’s series-opener, Maxwell collected a total of 15 kills over two nights with just a single hitting error. The Ottawa native had seven kills and one error on 13 attempts Friday, and chipped in four aces for 11 points while leading the Marauders with 11 digs on the defensive side.
She followed with a spotless, eight-kill effort Saturday and was a leading defender yet again with a co-leading tally of 10 digs.
