McMaster’s multi-tool was back at it again Saturday, making the most of extended minutes as a starter in his team’s OUA quarterfinal sweep of the Queen’s Gaels.
Richards started in the outside hitting position, and was Mac’s most efficient attacker on the afternoon, killing eight of 14 attempts versus just two errors (.429). He added three digs, four assists, an ace and a block assist in a typical, all-around performance that helped the Marauders blast into the OUA Final Four.
Mac plays host to that tournament for the fifth consecutive season this weekend, and the Marauders get things underway Friday night in a semifinal against the Ryerson Rams.
