A tough trip resulted in a mixed bag of results for the Marauders this past weekend, but veteran swing man Rohan Boney was a model of consistency as his team went 1-1 in North Bay and Sudbury.

The senior Economics major from Oakville, Ont. had 20 points on seven of 14 from the floor in McMaster’s comfortable 90-75 victory over the Nipissing Lakers Friday, going six of eight from the free throw line and adding three rebounds, four assists and two steals.

He followed with a dominant performance in a losing effort Saturday, and scored McMaster’s first 14 points against the Laurentian Voyageurs. Boney ended the night with a total of 32 points on 11 of 17 from the floor, hitting one three-pointer and nine of 13 free throws while adding seven boards, seven assists and four steals.
