Calm and assured in her fourth go-round at the OUA playoffs, the McMaster middle led her team in a methodical, straight-sets win over the York Lions in a quarterfinal Saturday.
 
Sorensen was the top scorer in the win, with 15 points including five kills on 11 attempts with no errors (.455), six aces and four blocks, as McMaster booked their spot in the OUA Final Four.
 
The team travels to Toronto this weekend, where they contest the title at the Goldring Centre. Their first action comes in a Friday semifinal against the Ryerson Rams.
