TORONTO, Ont. – At the OUA Figure Skating Championships the McMaster Marauders delivered a strong showing across multiple events, finishing tied for third overall with 51 points.
McMaster's top result came in the Couples Artistic event, where Lily Bauman and Calie Williams captured the gold medal with a standout performance. The Marauders also earned a pair of silver medals, with Katherine Karon finishing second in the Gold Women Freeskate and Hana Watanabe placing second in the Gold Artistic competition.
Additional podium finishes helped power McMaster up the standings. The fours team of Kristen Chak, Chloe Chung, Lily Carbray, and Jaana DeKort earned bronze in Freeskate Fours, while DeKort also secured a third-place finish in the Novice Women Short Program on day two of the competition.
After sitting third in the standings with 30 points following the opening day, McMaster added key points through their individual and team performances on Wednesday to finish the championship tied for third overall with Waterloo at 51 points.
Toronto claimed the team title with 106 points, narrowly edging Western, who finished second with 104 points.
