TORONTO, Ont. – The McMaster Marauders figure skating team travelled to the Mattamy Athletic Centre on March 4 and 5 to compete in the 2025 OUA Figure Skating Championships, hosted by the TMU Bold.
The Marauders found success throughout the two-day competition, bringing home one gold medal, three silver medals, one bronze medal, and finishing in fourth place overall.
Alistair Lam (Hamilton, Ont.) delivered an outstanding performance, claiming victory in the Open Men's Freeskate for the fourth consecutive year, remaining undefeated in the category. Additionally, Lam earned silver with his partner
Katherine Karon (Windsor, Ont.) in the Star 10 Senior Pair Freeskate, as well as in the Star 10 Couple Dance with partner
