HAMILTON, Ont. —The McMaster Marauders (2-6) are set to battle the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks (5-4) on Friday, followed by a matchup with Queen's University (8-0) on Saturday at the OUA Championships at Kiwanis Field in St. Catharines.
The Marauders had a tough start to the season, going winless in their first five games. The maroon battled back late in the season pulling out two wins out of their last three matches.

Rachael Holmes (Whitby, Ont.), Midfielder
Holmes is a third-year Marauder. She put together a strong season excelling at ball possession and fast break transitions for McMaster. The Kinesiology major is entering her third OUA Championship and will look to leave her mark.
Lexi Sheppard (Oakville, Ont.), Midfielder
Sheppard is a third-year Marauder who had a breakout year as the midfielder was the team's leading scorer. Along with her strong offensive ability, Sheppard brings a strong defensive presence and excels at transitioning up the field.

The Marauders will look to earn their first OUA Championship over the weekend.
