KOMOKA, Ont. – The McMaster Marauders men's golf team has ventured a mere 151 kilometres down the 403 and 401 to compete in Golf Canada's Canadian University/College Championship at FireRock Golf Club from May 30
th to June 2
nd.
After finishing the 2022 season as OUA Champions, the Marauders men's golf team clinched a berth at the Golf Canada Championship for the second straight year.
As a team, the Marauders are led by fourth-year commerce student and the 2022 Len Shore Trophy winner,
Nicolas Dessureault. He will be joined by graduating seniors
Patrick Maloney and Sam Coons as well as
Kavith Ranchagoda and
Matthew Martel. Dessureault, Maloney, Coons and Ranchagoda have represented McMaster on the national stage in past.
Last time at the Canadian University/College Championship, the Marauders finished the championship 14
th overall in Bromont, Que. and will look to improve on that result this week.
