Ahead of Friday's looming first serve at the U SPORTS Championship in Edmonton, the newly crowned OUA West Player of the Year Danny Demyanenko returned to the ranks of the U SPORTS All-Canadians at Thursday morning's All-Canadian Brunch.
Â
Demyanenko was named a First Team All-Canadian for the third consecutive year, standing as the only representative of the unbeaten Marauders among the All-Canadians Thursday. It marked the veteran middle's fourth All-Canadian nod overall, having cracked the Second Team in 2013 when he was named CIS Rookie of the Year.
Â
He and his Marauder teammates open their account at the U SPORTS Championship Friday, when they play in the second of the day's quarterfinals, taking on the Laval Rouge et Or at 4:30 eastern.
