The straight-set victory (25-11, 25-23, 25-17) matched a similarly straightforward win in London on Saturday, moving first-placed McMaster to 11-1 on the season, two games clear of the Ryerson Rams atop the OUA standings.
Four Marauders reached double digits in scoring on Sunday, with veteran outside Jori Mantha leading the way with 12 points, including nine kills, an ace and two blocks. Rookie Andrew Richards was the most efficient hitter over the course of the afternoon, converting 10 of 14 hitting attempts with just one error (.643) while adding a block for 11 points. Jayson McCarthy and Danny Demyanenko chipped in 10.5 and 10 points respectively.
The Marauders continue their road trip to begin the second semester when they travel to Kingston to battle the RMC Paladins and Queen's Gaels on Saturday, January 17 and Sunday, January 18.
