Toronto - The Marauder men's and women's cross country teams traveled to Toronto to compete at the OUA Championships on Saturday hosted by the York Lions.
The McMaster women's cross country team once again won a silver medal at the OUA Championship. This is the fourth time in a row the women have done so. The men's side also had great success as they finished fourth overall, their best finish since 2000.
Despite holding out their top woman runner, Lindsay Carson, the Marauders still managed to finish second overall in the team standings with some stellar performances. Veteran Victoria Coates won the OUA silver medal with a time of 17:59.57 in the individual standings and gained OUA All-Star status for the third time in a row.
Rookie Maddy McDonald places seventh overall, earning her OUA All-Star status with a time of 18:22.36. Courtney Patterson placed 11th at 18:42.41 and Stephanie MacNeill took 14th with a time of 18:45.47. This was Patterson's first All-Star nod and MacNeill's third.

For the men, Taylor Reid was the top finisher for the Marauders with an incredible performance with a time of 33:08.60 for OUA All-Star status. Lionel Sanders also placed in the top ten at ninth spot at 33:19.11 and would gain the All-Star nod as well.

The Marauders head to London next weekend to compete at the CIS Championships where they look to bring the title home to McMaster.
