MARAUDERS CAPTURE BRONZE AT SASKATCHEWAN'S EBWM INVITATIONAL

Saskatoon, Sask. - The No. 9 McMaster men's volleyball team traveled to Saskatchewan to take part in the EBWM Invitational hosted by the University of Saskatchewan Huskies. The three-day tournament sees the Marauders take on the likes of the Laval Rouge et Or, the Calgary Dinos and the hosting Huskies.

Saturday saw the Marauders capture bronze at the Invitational over the No. 7 Calgary Dinos. In the four set match, McMaster fought hard to win the game with scores of 25-15, 26-28 26-24, 25-22 after losing to the Dinos earlier in the tournament.

On Saturday morning the Marauders took on the hosting Saskatchewan Huskies. Falling in three sets, the set scores were 25-7, 28-26, 25-21.

Friday night saw the Marauders take on the Calgary Dinos. Losing in three, the set scores in favour of the Dinos were 25-18, 25-20, 25-21.

On Thursday, McMaster took on the Laval Rouge et Or. The Marauders fell in four sets to the No. 5 nationally-ranked squad with set scores of 25-18, 18-25, 25-16, 25-16.

The Marauders take on the tournament hosts at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday morning and will play in the bronze medal match at 7:00 p.m. that same day.
