Molly Palladino (Burlington, Ont.) came close twice, once sending the ball just wide and another time forcing a save from the keeper.
Sara Vogel (Calgary, Alta.) added to the pressure with a strike that sailed just over the post before the Marauders finally broke through. In the 33rd minute,
Jade Abreo (Mississauga, Ont.) buried the opening goal to give McMaster the lead heading into halftime. With the advantage, the Marauders fought hard to hold their ground. Rookie
