A Marauder star, Michael Horvat (Hamilton, Ont.), has been named to the U SPORTS All-Canadian First Team for his league leading punting. This is the second All-Canadian nod for the third-year athlete, as he was named to the All-Canadian Second Team in 2023.

Horvat punted 43 times over the regular season, gaining over 1,900 yards. The kinesiology major led the nation, averaging 45.1 yards per punt and recorded a season long, 79-yard punt against the Guelph Gryphons.

Horvat will look to continue his impressive play as he heads into his fourth season as a Marauder.
