The McMaster Marauders defeated the Trent Excaliburs at their Alumni Game of the season, with a 37-0 wipe.

With the win, the Marauders now hold a 2-2 recording in the season.

The Alumni Game saw some familiar faces in the crowd to cheer on the home team, and celebrate the graduating seniors.

The Marauders found the try zone 7 times with 6 athletes landing on the score sheet.

Burlaca kicked off the game early putting the squad in maroon on the board in the 10th minute. Followed by Taylor wood who made a 35 yard run, to score the try for McMaster. The first half found an end with Olaye tapping in the last try in the 40th minute. The Marauders cleared the first half holding the Excaliburs to 0.

Coming back strong, Olaye ran it back, scoring another try for the Marauders straight out of half time, putting the team up by 20. MacKinnon and Cassady Smith both had a pair of scores in the 60th and 72 minute, respectively. In the 78th minute, Cope sealed the game with the last try of the night. Chayse Palfi split the uprights with a convert and the end of the game. Lights out for Trent.

The McMaster Marauders will return to action on Saturday September 30th against the host Toronto Varsity Blues.
