KINGSTON, Ont. - The Marauders were defeated in a tough match on Friday night against the number two ranked Gaels. McMaster was up for a difficult battle in Kingston for their last regular season game, with Queen's being undefeated so far.  

The Marauders came into the first half strong on their defense, doing their best to block out the Gaels. They were able to keep the score at 0-0 until just under 15 minutes into the game, when Queen's scored their first try and conversion. Fourth year Osa Olaye played strong offensively, pushing through some of the Gaels' defensive players. Despite McMaster's best efforts, Queen's started rolling their offense and scored three more tries to bring the score to 26-0 at the end of the first half.  

McMaster did their best to ward off the Gaels in the second half, but competing against a nationally ranked team is no easy task. Queen's managed to get seven more tries past the Marauders; relentless on their offense. In the last few seconds of play, McMaster's Taylor Wood made a heads up play to earn a huge try for the away team, closing the score at 69-5.
