HAMILTON, Ont. - With just two games left on the 2022 OUA women's rugby schedule, the Marauders will look to improve to a 3-2 record on Saturday night against the York Lions. Despite last weekend's final score, the maroon and grey are prepared for this weekend and to contend for the OUA Championship title.

The Marauders and Lions will meet for the first time since matching up in the 2021 OUA season opener. McMaster dropped the Lions 31-7 that day and will search for another win on Saturday.
McMaster had a tough result last weekend against the defending national champions, falling 96-3 to the Gaels. This week, the Marauders will look to secure a win to keep their playoff hopes alive.
York (1-3) will look for their second win of the 2022 campaign after falling 59-12 to the Brock Badgers last weekend.

Katie McLeod (Richmond Hil, Ont.) scored the loan points for the Marauders versus the Gaels and added her name to the scoresheet for the fourth straight time this year. McLeod's three points are the only points conceded by the Gaels in 2022.
