HAMILTON, Ont. - With three straight wins over the past couple of weeks, the Marauders men's soccer team will look to keep moving up the standings with just four weeks remaining on the OUA schedule. The OUA West standings are tight with just four points separating first and fourth position. McMaster will travel to play the team directly ahead of them in the standings on Friday night - the Brock Badgers. This is the only scheduled meeting between the two teams this season. Kick-off is set for 8:15pm.
 
The Marauders showcased their tenacity last weekend, pulling out a game winning goal in the closing seconds of the contest, and will once again spotlight their determination this weekend against the Badgers. McMaster and Brock have split the last four meetings, each collecting two victories. The Marauders and Badgers last met in October of 2019 at Ron Joyce Stadium when the maroon and grey recorded a 5-1 win. A month and a half earlier, the Marauders travelled to St. Catharines and dropped a 4-2 contest to the Badgers. With the home team winning both of the most recent match-ups, McMaster will look to rewrite the narrative on Friday night.

Amir Shirazi (Oakville, Ont.) and Miles Green (Toronto, Ont.) each netted their fourth goal of the season in last weekend's contest with the Waterloo Warriors.

Brock (4-0-3), who is currently undefeated, sits two points ahead of the Marauders in the OUA standings after drawing twice with the Western Mustangs last weekend.

With five goal scorers this season, the maroon and grey have a balanced attack and will look to use it to their advantage this weekend. The Marauders have recorded 88 shots this season for an average of 12.6 per game. McMaster has found the back of the net 14 times in 2022.
