HAMILTON, Ont. - The McMaster Marauders and Queen's Gaels faced off in a Top 10 match-up on Saturday night at Ron Joyce Stadium.

Queen's, the defending National Champions, are undefeated this season and looked to continue the win streak in Hamilton while the Marauders looked for an upset.

On Saturday, the Gaels owned the game, putting up 49 points in the opening 40 minutes. The tricolour controlled the tempo and rolled to a 96-3 victory, thanks to 46 points from Elizabeth Gibson. Katie McLeod (Richmond Hil, Ont.) scored the loan points for the Marauders and added her name to the scoresheet for the fourth straight time this year. McLeod's three points are the only points conceded by the Gaels in 2022.

The Marauders now sit at 2-2 on the season while the Gaels move to 4-0.

The Marauders will hit the road on October 1st for a Saturday night contest with the York Lions. Game time is set for 7pm.
