HAMILTON, Ont. -The #9 nationally-ranked Marauders will return to Ron Joyce Stadium for the second time this season to face the #1 Queen's Gaels on Saturday night under the lights. After dropping the Laurier Golden Hawks last weekend, the maroon and grey are set to face the top team in the nation.
Queen's vs McMaster
Ron Joyce Stadium | Hamilton, Ont.
September 24th, 2022 @ 6pm
The Marauders and Gaels last met on October 23, 2021 in Kingston. Queen's took that contest by a 59-10 scoreline but, this time around, McMaster will look to change the narrative and upset the tricolour.
The maroon and grey dominated last week's contest in front of a boisterous home crowd, taking the victory 77-0 over the Laurier Golden Hawks. This week, the Marauders will face a much different opponent in the defending national champion, Gaels, but will look to come out on top again to extend the season record to 3-1.
Queen's (3-0) will look to stay undefeated after dropping York (105-0), Brock (64-0) and Western (63-0) in the first three weeks of competition. McMaster will try to become the first team to score on the Gaels this season.
