HAMILTON, Ont. - After two weeks of OUA competition, the Marauders will play in front of a home crowd at Ron Joyce Stadium for the first time in 2022. After a tough showing last weekend, the maroon and grey are prepared to showcase their skills on the pitch and there's no better time to do so than this Saturday afternoon at 1pm against the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks.

The Marauders and Golden Hawks will meet for the first time since matching up in an OUA quarterfinal on October 5, 2018. McMaster upended Laurier 109-0 that day and will search for another win in the only scheduled meeting of the 2022 OUA season.
Last weekend was a tough out for the Marauders who faced the defending OUA Champion Guelph Gryphons in Week 2 of OUA action. Despite battling hard, McMaster couldn't hold the Gryphons who rolled to an 86-5 victory. This week, the maroon and grey will leave it all on the field and look to return to the win column.
Laurier (0-2) will be searching for the first win of the 2022 campaign after dropping contests to both Waterloo (25-12) and Toronto (64-0).

Katie McLeod (Richmond Hill, Ont.) has been a staple on the scoresheet in both games thus far for the Marauders. McLeod will try to go three for three in this weekend's contest with the Golden Hawks.
