HAMILTON, Ont. - After a tough out last weekend versus the defending OUA champion, Guelph Gryphons, the maroon and grey collected one point from a 1-1 draw on Friday night. This week, the Marauders will look to get back in the win column against the Windsor Lancers. McMaster will open the weekend series at Ron Joyce Stadium Friday night under the lights at 8:15pm before taking a trip down the 401 to Windsor on Sunday.

The Marauders and Lancers will meet for the first time since October 11, 2019 - a contest that remained scoreless throughout the 90 minutes played. Prior to that, Windsor travelled to Hamilton where each team found the back of the net once, resulting in another draw. The Marauders have won five of the last eleven match-ups but, in recent years, the series has been much tighter with three of the four most recent contests ending in a draw. McMaster will look to steal six points from the Lancers this weekend.
After a strong showing in a draw with the Gryphons last Friday thanks to an early
Ed Bryan Florent (Orleans, Ont.) goal, the Marauders were unable to find the back of the net on Sunday. This weekend, McMaster will aim to improve their record and move up in the standings.
Windsor (0-4) has yet to secure a win this season, coming off two one goal losses (2-1, 1-0) to the Brock Badgers.
Last Time Out
Miles Green (Toronto, Ont.) and
Sachin Sargeant (Lynden, Ont.) were on the attack for the Marauders in last Sunday's contest, accounting for eight of the Marauders' attempts at goal. Sargeant will look to capitalize this weekend and find the back of the net for the maroon and grey.
Jonathan Vaughan (Cobourg, Ont.) was in net for both match-ups last weekend and recorded eleven saves.
