Over the weekend, first-year wrestler Howard Moffatt continued his impressive rookie campaign, capturing gold in the men's 92kg category at the 2020 Ontario Juniors Championship.

Moffatt opened the day with a pair of 10-0 tech fall over Windsor wrestling club's Thomas Fortier, and Thomas Fourtier of London-Western wrestling club later on in the day.

In the fourth round, Moffatt benefited a win after Thomas Reely of London-Western was forced out due to injury from his first round.

In the final round of the day, Moffatt went up against Arjun Dhesi of Akhara of Champions – Dhesi has also gone undefeated throughout the day, meaning the match would determine the title. 5:30 into the final match, Moffatt was able pin Dhesi for the gold.

Other Marauders that also secured podium finishes were Trystan Kato who captured silver in the men's 70kg, and Francesco Fortino who clinched bronze in the men's 61kg.

Kato fell in the gold medal match to Carlos Vargas of Team Xtreme, while in the bronze medal match, Fortino defeated Gianluca Fortino of the Jr Marauders by way of technical fall 10-0.
