Veterans made their presence felt Friday, as the Marauders women's rugby team boasted six different try scorers in a 57-12 season-opening victory over the York Lions in North York.

Fifth-year seniors Maddy Seatle, Cassidy Calvert and Katie Svoboda each had a pair of tries in the win, while Taylor Price, Sara Svoboda and Maddi Cohoon chipped in one each. Reprising her role as the Marauders kicker for points yet again in 2018, Sara Svoboda converted six times and ended the night with 17 points.
