Men's Soccer: Kovacevic Pours in Four Goals as Mac Thumps Algoma 6-0

The second-year striker reached a team-high of 11 goals on the season with his Saturday haul.

Box Score Dusan Kovacevic padded his lead atop the Marauders goal charts Saturday, leading the way as his team eased to victory at Ron Joyce Stadium.

The second-year forward netted four goals, including a first-half hat trick, as McMaster (11-3-1) blanked Algoma (2-13-0) 6-0 in the penultimate game of the OUA regular season.

His four goals pushed Kovacevic, already the team leader entering play Saturday, well into McMaster's lead in goals scored, with 11.

Fellow forward Yordan Stoyanov added two goals of his own in the win, while Jesse Di Domenico notched his fifth clean sheet of the season.

McMaster closes out the conference season Sunday with a rematch against the Thunderbirds at Ron Joyce Stadium.
