Box Score A day after a costly loss in Guelph, the Marauders rebounded to take the full three points from the penultimate game of their regular season in Waterloo. McMaster secured the game's only goal through defender Aleks Vincic to topple Laurier 1-0 on Sunday.

The win improved the Marauders to 11-4 on the season, as they remained snugly in third position in the OUA West standings -- a spot that they can't relinquish with just a game remaining. Laurier, meanwhile, fell to 4-6-4 and are currently edging out the Western Mustangs for fifth position in the division.

In an evenly-fought game in which both teams had 11 shots, the Marauders found the edge in the 65th minute, when Vincic broke the deadlock. McMaster successfully defended that slim lead to record their eighth clean sheet of the season.

They will wrap up their regular season schedule on Sunday, October 25, when they look to square the season series against the Guelph Gryphons at Ron Joyce Stadium.
