Hamilton, Ont. -  The McMaster men's soccer team began their defence of their 2011 OUA title against the Waterloo Warriors. The Marauders pulled off their first win of the season by a score of 3-1 on the road.

Third-year Paterson Farrell (Oakville, Ont.) kicked off the scoring with a goal in the final minute of the first half.

In the second, Waterloo's Andi Kararaj tied the game up int he 60th minute. 2011 OUA West Rookie of the Year Gersi Xhuti (Etobicoke, Ont.) would solidify the Marauders' first win of the season with two goals to follow just 4 minutes apart in the 79th and 83rd minutes.

McMaster will host the Windsor Lancers on Saturday at 3:15pm at Ron Joyce Stadium in their 2012 home opener.
