MARAUDERS SHUT OUT GOLDEN HAWKS IN 3-0 WIN

Waterloo, Ont. - The McMaster Marauders men's soccer team took down the Laurier Golden Hawks on the road on Sunday afternoon. McMaster improved to 7-1 on the season thus far with the 3-0 win.

Despite a scoreless first half, the Marauders scored three goals in the second. The first came from Paterson Farrell (Oakville, Ont.) at the 60th minute mark for his fifth of the season.

Forward Mark Reilly (Hamilton, Ont.) scored twice to seal the deal for the Marauders in the 74th and 82nd minutes for his fifth and sixth goals of the season.

Second-year Gersi Xhuti (Etobicoke, Ont.) had six shots on goal, but was unable to find the back of the net.

McMaster will host the Brock Badgers on Saturday September 29 in their next match.
