London, Ont. - In their final regular season game for 2012, the McMaster men's soccer team ended with a draw with the Western Mustangs on Sunday afternoon.
The Mustangs were the first to get on the board with a goal from Rudy James (Trinidad, Ont.) in the 19th minute.
It would only take until the 36th minute for the Marauders to get even. Nate Morris (Mississauga, Ont.) would score his second of the season, and his fourth of his two-year career at McMaster.
The Marauders finish the season with a 12-1-3 record, good for 39 points and second place in the OUA West, behind No. 1 York. They will earn a first round bye and advance to the OUA quarter-finals.
On Sunday, McMaster will host the highest seeded team remaining after the first round that could be either Western, Windsor, or Guelph. Game time is 7pm at Ron Joyce Stadium.
