Guelph, Ont. - The McMaster men's soccer team continued their winning ways by defeating the Guelph Gryphons for the second time this season by a score of 2-1.

The only goal from the first half came from second-year Gersi Xhuti (Etobicoke, Ont.) who scored in the 27th minute.

In the second half, Guelph would get even, tying up the score at one with a goal from Justin Springer (Burlington, Ont.) in the 49th minute. But just ten minutes after that, sweeper and veteran Garret McConville (Ottawa, Ont.) would score the game winning goal for just his second of his career.

This marks McMaster's 10th win of the season.

The Marauders host the UOIT Ridgebacks on Sunday at Ron Joyce Stadium at 3:15pm.
