The McMaster women's rugby team had no trouble defeating the Toronto Varsity Blues Saturday cruising to a 69-7 victory to improve to 3-0 on the season.
Cindy Nelles continued your solid rookie campaign with the Marauders scoring 29 points on three trys and 7 converts. Her combined 72 points rank her second in the OUA in scoring.
Natasha Turner and Alexandra Fairgrieve each added 15 points on three trys in the win. Hannah Braithwaite added the other 10 points on her two trys.
Karla Telidetzki scored the lone try of the game for the Varsity Blues.
Next week Saturday, October 1st the Marauders will travel to Kingston to take on the 3-0 Queen's Gaels in a battle for first place in the OUA Russell division.
