Mark Reilly scored twice as the McMaster Marauders defeated the Brock Badgers 4-1 in St. Catharines on Friday afternoon. 

Anthony Costa got the scoring started early for McMaster as he found the net three minutes into the game. 

Reilly would add his first seven minutes later, at the 10 minute mark, giving the Marauders a commanding 2-0 lead.

The Badgers would regroup after the half scoring in the 48th minute to cut the Marauder lead to one goal. Derek Patterson scored the lone goal of the match for the home side.

Reilly added his second goal in the 72nd minute and Elliot Pecora closed out the scoring with his goal at 82 minutes for MAC.

The win moved the Marauders to 5-1-1 on the season good for a first place tie in the OUA west division with York. Brock fell to 2-5 on the season.

McMaster will look to move ahead of York when they host UOIT on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 25) at Ron Royce Stadium.
